UHF solutions for tracking surgical instruments & hospital equipment

Spa Track Medical are exhibiting at the IDSc Annual Conference 30 Nov – 2 Dec 2015.

This will be an ideal time for UK decontamination experts to review Spa Track Medical’s latest innovations with ultra high frequency RFID technology for surgical instrument tracking.

The Institute of Decontamination Sciences (IDSc) is the UK’s professional body for managing all of the risks associated with Health Care Acquired Infections (HCAI) in medical device reprocessing and they are holding their annual conference in Blackpool at the Hilton Hotel on Monday 30 November – Wednesday 2 December 2015.

Spa Track will be exhibiting their RFID solution for surgical instrument tracking based on UHF (ultra high frequency) technology and includes:

  • A durable RFID pod securely and discreetly laser welded onto surgical instruments.
  • Intelligent, multi-anntenae scanning technology that cuts tray count time for up to 50 instruments from 1 hour down to 1 minute, that gives repeatable results with confidence.
  • Integrated software that will work with existing hospital systems and streamlines information for all stakeholders.

The Spa Track solution represents a break-through in single instrument identification and the Directors of Spa Track are looking forward to sharing their vision for the future with the UK’s decontamination leaders at this event.
